Acoustic simulations

Acoustic simulations arise more interest each day in the industry. The acoustics standards have become more strict as they now impose the study of the structure's vibro-acoustic behavior and noise transmission modes (structure-borne / radio) from the in the early development phases.

Acoustic simulations are now just as unavoidable as the study of a structure's mechanical behavior.

Their aim is to determine the level of noise in a defined (confined or not) space for a given noise source.

A viable simulation

Thanks to the evolution of computational power and numerical methods, acoustic finite element simulations have become viable over a wide spectral band, addressing issues in low and high frequencies.
